Facial recognition and video analytics
for Mass Events and Stadiums
Ensuring security at stadiums and other mass event venues requires monitoring the flow of thousands of people and prompt reaction to incidents. Face recognition technology helps you efficiently analyze video streams from hundreds of cameras in real time and respond to various security challenges.
FindFace’s track record includes deployments for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Unwanted guest detection
When a person from the watchlist is recognized by face at one of the connected cameras, the video analytics system automatically sends a notification that can be redirected to the security post or the nearest employee. Even in a dense crowd of hundreds of people, the system recognizes wanted persons, violators with a ban on attending matches and other unwanted guests and helps to prevent them from entering an event or competition.
Guest counting, demographic analysis
With the silhouette recognition algorithm, the video analytics system accurately counts people in preset areas in the field of view of the cameras, and their attributes — gender and age, clothing type and color, presence of bags, etc. This will help you evaluate event attendance, get reliable information about visitors and use this data to improve the quality of events.
Biometric access to restricted areas
The high accuracy of employee identification by face eliminates possible methods of fraud with cards and similar identifiers. NtechLab solutions allow you to manage employee access and additionally control attendance using facial biometrics.
Analysis of video streams from cameras allows you to quickly use the already processed video data to investigate and prevent offenses at the mass event facility. Once the face of offender has been recognized, he or she will be instantly detected when they appear in front of any connected camera. Thus, you can fully track the chronology of events and quickly investigate incidents.
VIDEO STREAM PROCESSING
FindFace video analytics software is capable of processing streams from thousands of cameras in real time. Every event (captured face) will be automatically stored in the database instead of the full video. This allows for a significant increase in data storage time — x20 longer compared to video archive.
The facial biometrics database allows you to search for a person of interest and find each appearance in a video with time, location, and image. Software performance allows you to find all events with a person in one second or faster. This makes FindFace an indispensable tool in ensuring the security of public events.
Modern stadiums typically use a variety of security automation solutions and the FindFace software was designed to interact with them. It easily integrates with various external systems using the REST API and web hooks for data exchange.
NO VENDOR LOCKUP
NtechLab video analytics software works with any existing cameras as long as they meet the technical requirements and installation instructions. Customers are not locked to a specific manufacturer of cameras or any other hardware.
