We used AI to count visitors, gather analytics, and ensure compliance with the epidemic control measures. The system utilized the pavilion's existing cameras, providing clear metrics to the on-site team.

AI-driven traffic and security management for Russia's pavilion at Expo 2020

Accurately count visitors in real time and collect audience analytics.
Monitor zone occupancy and comply with epidemic control measures.
Understand demographics (gender, age) and track unique and repeat visits.

Client challenge

We integrated FindFace with the cameras in the Russian pavilion. We enabled face and shape recognition, unique visitor counting, and demographic attribute analysis. We configured occupancy reports and alerts to allow the team to efficiently manage visitor traffic and security.

Our Solution

Pavilion cameras transmit the video stream to the platform.

1.
When occupancy thresholds are approached, the on-site personnel receive alerts.
3.
Reports show changes in the metrics: peak hours, audience makeup, and frequency of return visits.
4.
The AI detects faces and shapes, determines visitor gender and age, and tracks unique and repeat visits. The system monitors visitor traffic and zone occupancy.
